In March 2023, after a long period of searching for meaning, I found Islam. Following months of reflection and learning, on Friday, October 13th, 2023, I took my Shahada, Alhamdulillah. From that moment, I knew that one day I would wear the hijab. On May 17th, 2024, I finally embraced this beautiful act of faith and wore my hijab proudly—a decision I will cherish forever. 

As a single mother, my daughter is my greatest blessing, and everything I do is with her in mind. My everyday goal is to grow closer to my Deen and set an example for her, showing her the right path. Watching her curiosity and love grow as I built this brand has been my biggest motivation. It's what drives me every day, and I hope to show her that anything is possible when you follow your heart. 

When I chose to wear the hijab, one of the challenges I faced was finding the right type of hijab and, more specifically, matching the perfect undercap. I remember standing in front of the mirror, frustrated that I couldn’t find a hijab and undercap that matched perfectly. It was in that moment I knew I wanted to help other women avoid this struggle. This inspired me to make things easier for all of us queens—no more mismatched sets! At Malsi Modesty, we’ve created the perfect matching hijab and undercap sets, custom-dyed to offer flawless coordination and effortless style. 

Since the beginning of this project, I was drawn to the date November 28th, 2024. There was just something about it, and it felt like the perfect time to launch my business. It’s been a long journey to get to this point, and I’ve poured my heart into every detail. The timing seemed right, as if everything I’d worked toward was aligning perfectly for this day. 

My vision for Malsi Modesty goes beyond just fashion. I want every woman who wears a Malsi Modesty hijab to feel the same confidence and peace I felt when I first embraced modesty. Together, we can create a sisterhood of strong, empowered women who take pride in their faith. My ultimate goal is to expand our collection, offering a variety of hijab textures and styles while maintaining our commitment to quality.

Why "Malsi Modesty"? 

The name holds a special meaning to me. When you reverse the letters in MALSI, it spells "ISLAM"—a simple yet powerful reflection of the faith that has transformed my life and inspired this brand.
